Our Safety Electronics team designs and develops hardware and functional models that provide Best in Class behavior for features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist and 360 Camera Systems.


  • Lead the software development of ADAS Algorithms in image processing SOCs (Systems on chip)
  • Auto-coding of ADAS feature models
  • Support the development of active safety features.
  • Support the algorithm development and help establish procedures to verify performance both quantitatively and subjectively
  • Work with the Hardware in the Loop Team to establish CAE procedures to reduce dependence on vehicle level testing
  • Support Sign off of Feature Level performance per a given vehicle

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Controls Engineering
  • 4+ years’ experience in software development in C/C++ and/or Matlab/Simulink

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of embedded hardware and software design & development
  • Control algorithm development using Matlab, Simulink or equivalent
  • Software development in C/C++ , OpenCV , Image processing library & QNX
  • 1+ years of experience as an Applications engineer for active safety systems such as ACC, AEB, LKA, TJA, Collision Avoidance
  • Experience with Git, Github, Jira, Agile, Misra C\C++, ISO 26262
  • Software architecture, modular application development with Model/software, strong embedded experience, developing production algorithm experience
  • Design and development of radar, image processing or similar digital signal processing applications
  • Modeling / analyzing / simulating radar and/ or vision and/or Lidar sensor performance
  • Developing and conducting laboratory and vehicle tests. Data collection and analysis of Active Safety sensor systems
  • An understanding of embedded software development
