The new Hyundai Creta will be introduced in India in 2024, according to a story we published back in October 2022. The new mid-size SUV was expected to hit the market in 2023, according to numerous reports at the time. Hyundai Motor India later stated that the redesigned Hyundai Creta would be unveiled in 2024. Now that the car has been seen in testing, some significant facts about it have come to light.
In terms of volume, the Creta is without a doubt the top mid-size SUV in India. A number of new models have just hit the market, including the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and even the Kia Seltos 2023. However, nobody has been able to dislodge the Hyundai Creta from the top spot.
The Hyundai Creta not only has a sporty appearance, but it also has a ton of features and offers a variety of engine choices. With all of this added to Hyundai Motor India’s excellent brand recognition, the Creta is a nearly unbeatable product.
The spy photos provided by The Car Show YouTube channel show that the Hyundai Creta 2024 has undergone significant updating. New LED headlamps, a new bumper, and a new grille (influenced by the Hyundai Tucson) have all been added to the front. Additionally, the car has brand-new alloy wheels. New LED taillamps and a bumper are included at the back.
We anticipate the Hyundai Creta 2024 to have the same engine options as the Kia Seltos, which are a 1.5-liter Turbo-GDi petrol (160PS/253Nm), a 1.5-liter NA petrol (115PS/144Nm), and a 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel (116PS/250Nm). There will be several different gearbox options, including 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, IVT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed AT.
We anticipate that the Creta 2024 will go on sale in the first part of 2019. While the pricing of the present model ranges from Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the cost of the new Hyundai Creta will be higher due to all the changes.
