We are looking for a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team and help grow the business.

As a manager of the vehicle controls software group you will be responsible for:

Job Duties:
Building and managing an in-house interdisciplinary team of vehicle electronics, mechanical and software engineers for electric and autonomous features
Delivering the projects to clients on a timely manner and with highest quality standards
Developing relationships with clients and helping the business development team to acquire new projects
Developing products for technology development capability demonstrations in symposiums and technical conventions
Conducting research on electrified drivetrains, ADAS/AV and active safety systems and release white papers and publications in international journals
Assisting the establishment of an engineering research and development office and a lab in the nearby Oakland county cities
Conducting regular meetings for code reviews, algorithm development, testing and validation reviews, data analysis and recommendations prep for clients
Helping business development team with technical presentations, engineering proposals, financial forecasts
Helping talent acquisition team with planning new hiring, interviewing engineers on technical fronts
Liasing with offshore operations in Pune and Windsor as and when needed
Attending symposiums, technical conferences and events to present Dorle Controls LLC’s work in the electrification and adas domain
Attending and sponsoring student competitions, internships, career fairs and other social events
Developing relations with universities to create new programs for students to gain more exposure to the industry

Demonstrated high level of integrity for current and past employers (3 LORs)
Working experience in developing controls software using C++, Matlab, Simulink, Python
Working knowledge of vehicle systems (engines, transmissions, motors, batteries, ADAS etc)
Demonstrated leadership in getting things done, building teams and client relations
Willingness to work on more than just the technical work
Willingness to travel across USA (15%)
Willingness to travel to Canada and India (10%)
Willingness to work for a small company
Controls software development experience (8+ years)
Managerial experience is nice to have but not mandatory(1+ years)

Salary and Benefits:
$100k – $140k
