Your primary responsibility will be to ensure rigorous testing and validation of these systems, with particular emphasis on charging functionalities, ensuring compliance with global standards, functional integrity, and safety. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for system and vehicle-level validation.
Location:
Pune, India
Responsibilities:
- System Validation of VCU and EVCC:
- Lead validation activities for VCU and EVCC functionalities, focusing on AC and DC fast charging circuitry based on ISO15118.
- Validate key charging functions such as charging start, pause, end, charging profiles, driver information, remote monitoring/control, and failsafe modes.
- Test Plan Development & Execution:
- Define and document test plans for the validation of VCU and EVCC systems based on functional requirements and vehicle project milestones.
- Create detailed test cases for both system-level and vehicle-level validation, ensuring coverage of all functional and safety requirements.
- Execute validation tests using simulation tools (HIL, MATLAB) and physical vehicle setups.
- Test Reporting & Documentation:
- Analyze and interpret test results, generating detailed test reports for VCU and EVCC validation.
- Document validation findings and function releases, providing accurate reporting to support decision-making for function approvals.
- Failure Analysis & Issue Resolution:
- Perform root cause analysis for any issues encountered during validation, and collaborate with development teams to track resolutions and validate bug fixes.
- Support continuous validation cycles by re-testing after software/hardware updates.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other validation and development teams to ensure alignment of test strategies and objectives across charging systems and diagnostics.
- Coordinate with Powertrain and Electrical teams across regions, including Europe, and the US, to support global validation efforts.
- Lab and Bench Testing:
- Validate VCU and EVCC systems on test benches such as HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), RCP setups
Required Skills:
