Key Responsibilities:
- Position reports to Sunrise, Florida office.
- Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Design high speed digital and power management circuits to meet section requirements.
- Design circuits using industry standard schematic capture tools and complete PCB layout implementation of responsible subsection.
- Perform worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility.
- Generate documentation that defines processor pin assignments.
- Validate testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes.
- Root cause and resolve issues in assigned sections.
- Participate in system design reviews and interface closely with other teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and education
- Preferred 5+ years of experience .
- Experience designing and debugging complex embedded systems hardware
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues; using electrical engineering test equipment; using CAD tools for printed circuit board design
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Implementing microprocessors, solid state memory, cameras, displays, and sensors into new designs.
- Experience may be acquired prior to completion of bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree.
