Electrical Engineer – In House Electronics

Location:

Sunrise, FL, United States

Key Responsibilities:

  • Position reports to Sunrise, Florida office.
  • Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
  • Design high speed digital and power management circuits to meet section requirements.
  • Design circuits using industry standard schematic capture tools and complete PCB layout implementation of responsible subsection.
  • Perform worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility.
  • Generate documentation that defines processor pin assignments.
  • Validate testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes.
  • Root cause and resolve issues in assigned sections.
  • Participate in system design reviews and interface closely with other teams. 

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and education
  • Preferred 5+ years of experience .
  • Experience designing and debugging complex embedded systems hardware
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues; using electrical engineering test equipment; using CAD tools for printed circuit board design
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Implementing microprocessors, solid state memory, cameras, displays, and sensors into new designs.
  • Experience may be acquired prior to completion of bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree.
