WHAT DOES A VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT DO IN AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE?

The Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) is the central brain of every electric vehicle. It coordinates all major powertrain subsystems โ€” the battery management system (BMS), motor inverter, onboard charger (OBC), and thermal management โ€” by translating driver inputs into real-time control commands.
