As of today, October 4, 2023, the Lumax-DK Jain Group announces the appointment of Raju B. Ketkale as “Executive Director-Manufacturing and Corporate Planning.”
Ketkale will be headquartered in Gurugram at the company headquarters and collaborate closely with the executive team.
Ketkale is a senior industry veteran with more than three decades of expertise. Throughout his career at Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKML), he has held different important positions. At TKML, he most recently served as Executive Vice President-Manufacturing and Board Member.
In order to achieve cost competitiveness and manufacturing excellence, he successfully oversaw significant structural reforms in manufacturing, technical function, and people development. He also created a leadership pipeline that is prepared to take on the challenges of new technology, electrification, carbon neutrality, and digitization. As the project manager for the Toyota-Suzuki alliance, he was also working closely with Suzuki, Japan, and Maruti Suzuki India. He successfully developed the first hybrid vehicle project for India and its export markets.

Ketkale graduated from Bangalore University with a BE in Mechanical and an MA in Machine Design. He received the Energy Compact Award from MNRE, Government of India, on behalf of TKML for reaching RE100 in May 2022. In his previous position, he also pushed environmentally friendly operations at TKML and throughout the value chain, with the goal of reaching plant zero CO2 (RE 100) in 2021.
